Ketamine treatment
Ketamine Treatment for Depression and Mood Disorders
A new hope for those who have not found relief with traditional treatments.
At our psychiatry clinic, we are committed to the emotional well-being of our patients, offering evidence-based therapies that are person-centered. One of the most innovative and promising treatments we provide is ketamine therapy, particularly indicated for individuals suffering from treatment-resistant depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), severe anxiety, bipolar disorder, or even persistent suicidal thoughts.

What is Ketamine and How Does It Work in the Mind?
Ketamine is a medication that has been used for decades as a safe and effective anesthetic. However, recent research has shown that, when administered in low doses and under controlled conditions, it can have a powerful antidepressant and anxiolytic effect.
Unlike traditional antidepressants, which can take weeks to show effects, ketamine acts rapidly on neurotransmitter systems, particularly glutamate, promoting neuronal plasticity and the reconnection of brain circuits affected by depression and trauma.
